What Car? Car Of The Year Awards - Speedmonkey Style

Every year What Car? magazine holds an awards ceremony and the 2014 What Car? Awards are taking place this evening in a rather swanky hotel in London.  And I'll be there.

Thanks to the lovely folk at Haymarket I'll be mixing with the movers and shakers in the UK car industry and watching as various manufacturers win or lose in the various different categories.

Here's the list of awards.  There are quite a few.  The Sports Car award interests me the most, especially given there are three Porsches in the category going up against the sublime Jaguar F-Type.

Last year's Car of the Year was the Audi A3 Sportback 1.4 TSI 122 SE.  This year I reckon the F-Type has got to be odds on favourite.
