The weather is disgusting and and I've been super-busy today but the bright spark in an otherwise dull day is that the man from Jaguar delivered this beautiful XKR this afternoon.
I've only been able to do 5 miles (drop man from Jaguar off at the station then pick son up from school) and that was in the rain. First impressions - it is ferocious and a lot more focussed a driving machine than the Maserati GranTurismo I recently tested - but also less focussed on sheer luxury and the experience of being conveyed in style. The back seats are also tiny. Like, weeny, teensy tiny.
Specs: 5 litre supercharged V8, 510bhp, 0-60mph in 4.6 seconds, £78,550
