This is the new for 2013, or 2014 if you are in the US, Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG. The photos were leaked by a Russian website and will be issued by Mercedes soon.
The engine will be the 4 cylinder, 2 litre unit also found in the A 45 AMG which, being a hatchback, won't be sold in the US. The CLA 45 AMG gets a 7 speed DCT transmission and 4Matic 4 wheel drive.
Power is 360bhp, torque is 331lb ft, combined economy should be in the region of 41mpg and CO2 emissions will be 165 g/km.
In Germany the A 45 AMG and CLA 45 AMG will be sold for around €50,000 which equates to £43,000 and $65,000 US, although US prices are bound to be cheaper because the US government doesn't tax it's citizens until their eyeballs pop.
Most importantly, the 4 cylinder engine sounds pretty good - an absolute must for an AMG.
