Spot the difference - McLaren P1 and Astra GTE dashboards

McLaren have just released interior shots of the £800,000 P1, with it's hardcore seats and Alcantara trimmings.  But Speedmonkey reader Chris Clague noticed something - "Dashboard from a late 80's Astra."

And Chris is right.  Further research yielded several more ancient dashboards that bear an uncanny resemblance to that in the McLaren P1.
