Following on from the Juke Nismo, which we didn't feature due to it's immense hideousness, comes the second Nismo in the Nissan UK line-up. The much prettier 370Z Nismo.
Nismo, if you didn't know already, stands for Nissan Motorsport, which was established on 1 May 1964 when Nissan's motorsport engineers squeezed a 2 litre V6 into a bog standard saloon to create the Nissan Skyline 2000GT (S54).
The 370Z Nismo uses a tuned version of the 370Z's 3.7 litre V6, which produces 339bhp and does 0-62mph in 5.2 seconds. The major changes to the engine improve torque across the low and mid rev range.
Nismo kit includes diffusers to increase downforce and improve airflow under the car and re-engineered suspension and chassis set-up which gives the 370Z Nismo improved stability at high speed and through corners.
Other additions include pinstripes, 19 inch superlight alloys, red brake calipers, wider tyres, a rear spoiler, Alcantara steering wheel and sports seats. The final touch is a Nismo dual exhaust system which frees up the engine a little and amplifies the growl of the V6.
More details and pricing will be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show on 5 March but expect it to cost around £35,000
