Any petrol head worth his or her salt has either been, or plans to attend at some point, a Touristenfahrten (tourist trip) at the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit in Germany. And with good reason - it's the best track in the world and for a handful of Euros anyone can drive any car or bike (or van, or even bus) round the circuit.
The one rule to bear in mind when lapping the Nürburgring is this - don't crash.
It's bad enough crashing on a race circuit but at the Nürburgring the barriers are generally close to the track, the kerbs are high enough to flip you, you have to pay for barrier repair and emergency services, it closes the track so everyone will hate you and, finally, there will inevitably someone waiting trackside to film your embarrassing, costly and painful misadventure.
These fools ignored the rule. They crashed their Honda CR-V, obviously not realising an SUV's centre of gravity is really high.
